Saturday Sketch Challenge #12

I think I have become addicted to this challenge. The main image, which is made up of two stamps, parcel and legs, are 'Stamps by Judith' and are available from Stamp Addicts. I love the fact that you can put the recipients name on the tag. I hope I am right in saying that unfortunately they are not available to buy online, only at the shows. If you are planning on a visit to one of their shows in the near future, give them a call before hand and they will reserve the stamps for you. Incidentally, the legs, mentioned above come in either boy or girl. I have used the boy which I thought went better the the colour combo I used. The sentiment stamp is by Judikins.

No patterned paper

Thought I would try the Arty Girlz Challenge, no patterned paper. This card originally had a background of different coloured plain cardstock. I was doing some faux stitching and threw the flowers, die cuts and sentiment to one side. They landed on some white paper which gave them a cleaner look, which I liked. It's funny how cards evolve. The daisy is, again, one of Sugar and Spice's lovely stamps. So too is the sentiment. Check them out here.

Daisy, Daisy......

Another Sketch Saturday challenge, don't the weeks just fly by. Here's the sketch and my interpretation, I have used some wonderful stamps designed by Sugar and Spice. Saw them used on Jackie's blog and just had to have them. I love daisy and petal stamps and these are right up my street. I made a couple more cards using the same stamps which I thought you might like to see.

Looking forward to tomorrow as I am off to the Stevenage 'Stamperama' show with a group of avid crafters. I love that show because you get around it many times and not miss a thing, which is important!

Yum..... Cake!

Another post and another challenge. This time it's a new one for me, it's Sketch Saturday. I enjoy the sketches because it gives you a starting point. Anyway, the cupcake stamps are from Hero Arts and they are in their Clear Design range entitled 'cupcakes'. The birthday sentiment stamp is from 'Stampin-up'. It's in their circle of friendship set and available from Jackie, please visit her blog here.

Happy Crafting.

In the pink?..... I think not!

Hope everyone is having a good weekend, the weather is a bit cooler now, just how I like it. I am not a sun worshiper and its a waste of valuable crafting time (lol). Time for the Penny Black Saturday Challenge and this week it's 'no pink' which is perfect for me because pink is not my colour!

Enjoy the rest of the weekend.

Bags of fun!

Hi there,

I have finally finished my latest assignment for Stamp Addicts and they went in the post on Monday. I believe Sarah and Vicky are filming the show sometime in August so we should see it on Create and Craft very soon!

Here's another of my bag cards with a slightly different take. I love the colours, they are very fresh and summery and because of the blue theme, I am able to enter it into the Arty Girlz Challenge which, this week, happens to be anything with blue in it.

Have bags of fun! Thanks for looking.

Christmas in July

Hi there,

Another challenge this week, thought I would have a go at the Penny Black Saturday Challenge, 'Snow Much Fun'. I just love snowmen, they are my favourite Christmas Characters and Penny Black have the best! Stamps used are, of course, Penny Black with the exception of the pine sprig which is by Great Impressions.

Wild Thing!

Hi there,

Just a quick Arty Girlz Challenge post today. The theme is men, they are not the easiest to make cards for so let hope we get lots of inspiration from the entries. As I am not into bikes, I am sure I have coloured parts that should be chrome so for all you bike enthusiasts out there, sorry! The Motorbike and 'Wild Thing' stamps are from Clarity Stamps and the Happy Birthday is from Printworks.

Happy Crafting.

Papertake Weekly Challenge

Hi there,

Just thought I would do a quick post. It's for Katharina's Papertake Weekly Challenge sketch No. 6. The elephant stamp is 'Embrace' by Penny Black and the sentiment is 'Small tag lines' from Printworks Clearly Defined range. Don't forget to check out the Penny Black Saturday Challenge each week.

Thanks for looking.

Thank You

Quite liked the sound of this week's Papertake Weekly Challenge, Thanks a Latte!, so here is my entry. I am very fond of this little bear, he was one of the first stamps I bought from Stamp Addicts. He sometimes looks a bit grumpy but I think that adds to his appeal. His official name is 'Shy Bear' by Artful Stamper and he is available from Stamp Addicts. Talking of Stamp Addicts, I have just received a new design team assignment for their TV show in August so I shall have to get busy.

Happy Crafting.
