Christmas Cards

Hi there

Me again with another cards to show you.  This one was done in class.  It's one of my favourite papertrey stamp sets and I don't think I will ever tire of it.

Sorry about the photo images, our computer has blown a gasket and I am having to make do at the moment.

Thanks for looking

Another Catalina border card

Hi there,

I've got another card to show you using the Catalina border die and once again I was inspired by a card I saw in a very old 'Stamp It' magazine.

Thanks for looking.

Another owl

Hi there

Last week I had my cousins daughter, Eloise, come to stay for 5 days, we saw two West End shows and made 32 cards.   One of them was for her Nan who happened to like owls so we just had to make  a version of the cards I have recently been showing.  She chose her own papers and colours and I think she made a great job.

Using the same layout, I made a Christmas card..

Thanks for looking.

Owl-loween

Hi there,

Following on from yesterdays post, I just had to make this for Halloween,   I've seen this sentiment used on some cards recently and thought it was cute.  That's another card to my ever growing stash of Halloween Cards.

Wished I had made the sentiment bigger on the computer, never mind, too late now.

Thanks for looking.

Owl card

Hello there,

This card was made using a similar idea to a card I saw in a very old 'Stamp-it' magazine.  I loved the simplicity of it.

The owl stamp was a freebie from 'Craft Stamper' magazine a long while ago and the sentiment is computer generated.

Thanks for looking.

Another little lady card

Hi there,

After the last post I decided to make another little lady card, this time using red patterned paper for the backing and the body of the ladybird.  I also added some flowers.  The sentiment is computer generated.

Thanks for looking.

Special Little Lady

Hello

It was my cousin's daughter's birthday a few days ago and I made her this card, together with a matching money wallet.  Actually, the money wallet was made first and the card was inspired by that.  The ladybird was quick, easy and fun to make from circle punches and the antennas were cut from a butterfly memory box die.

Thanks for looking and speak to you soon.

Christmas Catalina

Hi there,

The final Catalina die post and possibly my favourite.  Because I had trouble with the shading on the banner for the Halloween version I thought about using chalks on this one and they worked a treat.  I wish I had thought about chalking the others, especially in the background but thats all part of the learning process.

Thanks for looking at my Catalina die creations over the past few days.

Halloween Catalina

Hello crafters

My head is buzzing with ideas at the moment and here's the latest.  I love this little cat from Penny Black, I think he is called 'cute'.  He just has his paws up and you can make him hold anything you want, very versatile.

The  spellbinders banner was just too much for this card and I could not get the shading right.

Thanks for stopping by to look again.  A Christmas version on the way and the last one, I promise.

Birthday Catalina

Hello all you crafty people out there,

After the last post I pulled out my die and started playing and came up with this which I really like.

It then got me thinking, how would a Christmas version or an Easter version look?  Stay tuned for more.

Thanks for looking and happy crafting.

Oriential Blossom

Hi there crafters

Last week I did a computer card with my group from the MS Society, using the outer waste of a labels die and this week we have used the actual die itself to make a card with a oriential blossom theme.

Thanks for looking and happy crafting.
