Night Before Christmas

Hi there

I recently had a card sent to me and I loved the way it folded so I brought out one of my favourite Christmas stamps, Clarity's Night Before Christmas, and made my version of it.

Thanks for looking

Matchbook Card

Hi there

The final card we did was not quite a pocket card but a matchbook style card.  I still used the Tim Holtz easel die to stand it up.

Thanks for stopping by over the last few days to look at my recent posts.

January card classes

Hi crafters,
Just thought I would show you some of the cards we have been making in our January 2011 card classes.  In one class that I do, we are all members of the Clarity stamp club and so I try to incorporate Barbara's monthly stamp into at least one of the cards.  Here, I have used the leafy rod stamp for the stems and also the subtle background paper.  The flower heads are from Imagine that.

The second card is a Lily of the Vally image.  If you are familiar with this image you will know that there is no back to the car and so I have placed it through a circle to solve the problem.

Thanks for looking and happy crafting

Men's cards

Hi there,

I am currently having a go at making a batch of different men's cards for my supply and I thought I would show you a couple that I have done.  The bike is from Clarity Stamps and the golf bag is from Funstamps.

Enjoy the sunshine and have a great week.

Arty Girlz Challenge #61

'Today, well lived, makes every yesterday a dream of happiness and every tomorrow a vision of hope'

Hi there, back for another challenge. I have not done Arty Girlz for a while but when I saw that the challenge was either a quote or verse, I just had to do it. I have many quotation stamps and it was hard to choose but I came up with this one, it's from Clarity Stamps, so too are the leaves. I thought I would get one last Autumn leaves card in before Christmas.

Hope all is well in your neck of the woods.

Thanks for looking.

Cute Card Thursday (Autumn)

When I saw this challenge I knew I had to do it. I love leaves and Autumn colours and had recently been messing around with these particular stamps on another card.

Ingredients: Stamps: Great Impressions and Clarity Inks: Adirondack 'Cabin Fever' and Distress Ink 'Tea Dye' Cardstock: Stampin-up.

Thanks for looking.

Pretty in Pink

It's Cute Card Thursday time again and although my shoe isn't a cute image, I think it's pretty in pink. This card uses the wonderful designer papers from Stampin-up which are, unfortunately, now on the retired list. It also uses the large Sketch Shoe stamp from Clarity Stamps. Some Glitter and a bow and your stepping out in style.

Happy Crafting.

Wild Thing!

Hi there,

Just a quick Arty Girlz Challenge post today. The theme is men, they are not the easiest to make cards for so let hope we get lots of inspiration from the entries. As I am not into bikes, I am sure I have coloured parts that should be chrome so for all you bike enthusiasts out there, sorry! The Motorbike and 'Wild Thing' stamps are from Clarity Stamps and the Happy Birthday is from Printworks.

Happy Crafting.
