Awards

I have been very lucky recently to receive three awards, the first, One Lovely Blog is from Glenda (Cards by Aardvark), the second, Makes my Heart Smile is from Jackie (Crafty Garden) and the third, Spreader of Love is from Jennifer (I feel a card coming on) so thank you ladies for all your kind words and these special awards, I am truly honoured. Please check out their wonderful blogs for lots and lots of inspiration. As you know, it's always difficult to pass on awards because all our blogs are special in one way or another and some of us have already received them so these awards go out to everyone.

Happy crafting.

Friday Sketchers - One for the Boys

I don't think we see enough cards for boys so here's my entry for Friday Sketchers. The sketch this week is clean and simple and perfect for a footy card which always goes down well.

Thanks for looking.

Colour Create #5 - Orange, Yellow and Green

When I saw this colour combo from Colour Create, flowers were crying out to me. This is the first time I have used this stamp from Little Claire Designs and I really like it. You can get a great 3D effect.

Hope the sun is shinning where you are. Thanks for looking.

Penny Black - 3-2-1

Hello everyone,

Back for another Penny Black Challenge and I thought I would make a start on my Easter cards, last year I ended up buying them. I have used 'Bunny Kiss!, another bargain stamp from the Stevenage show. I have cheated a bit with this challenge as I have used 4 brads instead of 3, I totally forgot about the brad in the centre of the flower. The papers are from one of my favourite collections from Kaboodle Doodle.

Have a great weekend and thanks for looking.

Sketch and Stash #5 - New Home

I needed a new home card for a family member and this sketch from Sketch and Stash was perfect. All old stash today. The stamp used is an oldie from Pulling on the Glitz and I have used some of my old papers from a Hot off the Press stack. Even the key was bought many moons ago.

Thanks for looking.

Colour Create #5

Baby cards are always useful so here's my entry for this weeks Colour Create, which is to use brown and blue. I have used stampin-up chocolate chip as a backing but unfortunately it has come out quite dark and looks black. I thought I would keep it simple to show off the cute stamp which is in the Forever Friends range.

Thanks for looking and happy stamping.
